Where can I purchase fresh dill? I see dried dill in the stores but not fresh

I get mine from the Farmer''s Market - Saturdays - 9am - 12pm in the Town Centre parkade.

Go about a half mile south of Crocus Plains School on first street on right hand side. There is a little market garden that sales it fresh.

You found if not super store generally has "fresh" herbs. But local will be better

Local is best but if you need it at other times of the year I have got it fresh from both sobeys and Walmart, in a clear plastic container in the refrigerated section of produce.

dill or dill seed heads?

I have bought fresh dill sprigs for salads, soups, garnish, etc. at Superstore and Sobeys.

If you're using it for canning, fresh dill sprigs aren't ideal. They will get mushy and cloud your brine. For canning you should use dill seed heads (look for them at a market) or dried dill seed (grocery store or Bulk Barn).

I usually get fresh dill in bunch from Superstore. Farmers market or some farms that sell vegetables are another options.
