Those of you that have been camping in Sprucewoods, have they fully restored the lower campground? As in, is it comparable to how it was before the flooding?

They've barely started.

I was amazed how much was accomplished. It is really nice and the new showers are great

Haven't camped out there in years but have made numerous day trips. They are doing a fantastic job. New bathrooms built up on higher ground. New showers. Interpretive Center/Amphitheatre is new since I have been out (beautiful). New playground. They have done a huge amount of work on the trails, placing rock on the river edge as you come in to prevent future erosion. Working on new campsites for bigger pull-through trailers/motorhomes at the far end of the day use area.  
 
I don't know that the intention is to fully restore the lower campground as many trees are gone from the flooding etc but to move/make newer areas up on the hill. Yurts are very cute up there as well.

I knew they had done some rebuilding, but it was unclear how much has been done. You've answered most of my questions!

I love going there. They have done lots of work so far.we were in one of the flooded areas last year. We had new bathrooms/showers and our site was well maintained.

Checked out bays 3 and 4 for sites, and they look really nice.

Still some cosmetic damage from the flooding - however the lower has state of the art washroom facilities - great camping and perfect for weekend camping - terry Ross must be at wrong place as kiche manitou is perfect
