    Goodmorning! I am looking for a good spot to take my family waterskiing, what are some good lakes within 2 hours of Brandon? How are Rivers and Minnedosa for skiing? Thank you!

    Rivers is your best bet. Lots of Lake to play on nice long straight driving possible.  
     
    Minnedosa is terrible for power sports because it is so small and fishermen just pop down so you got no place to ski. Not angry at fishermen cause I hate when I am trying to fish and just keep getting buzzed by by boats.  
     
    Yep stick with rivers, plus it is the closest

    Are these lakes that are listed good for swimming as well?? like they r clean to swim in?

    It's the best secret lake in this area. Only 45 minutes south/east of Brandon!!  
    Long beautiful lake with sailboats on the water and waterskiing, kayaking, etc.

    I second pelican lake. ..so large there's lots of room for boating, skiing,etc.

    whichever lake you choose maybe you should check to see if there is a fishing derby happening!  
     
    I believe Rivers has a derby this Sunday - father's day.

    May I suggest Stephenfield Lake - it is a hidden gem - and boating is allowed on this lake - http://www.gov.mb.ca/conservation/parks/pdf/planning/2014/stephenfield_mp.pdf
