Only miss two things since I moved here from Winnipeg: Costco and burger joints. Anything like George's, Fatburger, Daly Burger, Blondies, Burger Factory, Junior's, etc.?

In Brandon check out Tastees on first street and I also like the burgers Prairie Firehouse on Princess ave has.

Sadly you wont find a 1-9 pound Blondie type burger anywhere in B-Town.  
If my memory is correct, Mum's had a decent burger.

If you can wait a short month rink burgers will be cooking lol. Honestly some of these small town rinks have better burgers then anywhere in Brandon. Yummy. Come on hockey season haha

IMO it used to be Five Guys but they closed due to the renovations at the Shoppers Mall and never renewed there lease. (I think?)  
 
Boston Pizza CAN make a good burger depending what day of the week it is, but not a Five Guys burger.  
 
Montana's BBQ & Grill in the Corral Center also has some good burgers, I'd rate them a step above Boston Pizza because there consistency seems... well more consistent.  
 
Browns Bistro on the North Hill has burgers I wouldn't place them as high as Five Guys.. but value wise they're pretty dam good! $5 Pulled Pork on a bun is amazing.  
 
I will second the other person's comment about A & W burgers, although I don't think that is what OP is looking for.  
 
Clay Pot Cafe also offers burgers but I need to re-visit them as my first experience wasn't great so I want to retry them a few more times before I form an opinion.  
 
I believe Applebee's also offers burgers I am guessing similar to BP and Montana's however I haven't tried them yet, they're on my list!  
 
I am sure I missed a few other places that also offer burgers in B-town.  
 
Now I want a Fire Cracker burger from Montana's for lunch!

But honestly Brandon has lots to choose from already. Any more and there will be issues.

hands down best burgers and burger menu in town, not to mention all the other awesome poutine choices to go with them.

Unfortunately Brandon is seriously lacking in the good burger department. We have to drive to Winnipeg to get our fix, otherwise we just BBQ ourselves.  
Tried Tastees and it was way overpriced for a thin patty. Nothing compared to Fat Burger or Blondie's! You won't find that type of burger here. A&W is probably your best bet.

Nuburger isn't as good as it used to be. I miss when they used to have bison on their menu.

Komfort Kitchen used to have amazing burgers before they switched to only having whole wheat buns. We used to go every 4-6 weeks but stopped once they removed the choice of bun.  
 
It's too bad, if they went back to offering a white bun we'd go back.

Is Cranberries still open? Many many many years ago I worked at Uncle Tom’s for the 2 owners. They sold and went on to open Cranberries. They were amazing cooks and made everything homemade when I worked for them at Uncle Toms.

Sounds like I've got a few places to check out. Definitely looking more for a diner than fast food, if anyone else has a lead. Something indulgent, that's big enough to make me sleepy. Or ashamed.

nothing like Nick's or Juniors, I love a good burger with a great chili sauce. We make our own, or wait till we head into Winnipeg and always stop at Nicks.

Im from Winnipeg too. Moved hete two years ago. Ive tried evety place people have mentioned above. If you want something like Georges, MOMs comes the closest. Portions are big (not georges big, but big) and the quality is great. I tried Tastees on Friday and wasnt super impressed. My wife and I both preferred MOMs.  
 
If you want something more upscale, The Dock has an amazing Bison Burger with truffle oil and aioli. Less classic, but delicious.

I can’t believe no one has mentioned THE DOCK BURGER at The Dock!!!! Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had and I’ve had a lot!

Surprised no one has mentioned Smitty's! They have a burger that I can't recall the name of right now, but it has 3 mozzarella sticks on it and oh my gaaaahd.

But, again, that's in Winnipeg. We are seriously lacking in the good burger department (Think fatboys in shack like setups like VJ's, Dariwhip, Mrs Mikes, or Jimmy's in Portage la Prairie)  
 
That being said, locally I'd say my favourite is the Dock Burger @ The Dock.

The dock burger is by far the best burger in Brandon!! Worth a try!

I've always loved the burgers at Prairie Firehouse and Joe Beeverz. It's always nice to support local businesses.

The best burger by far is at the Keg! Any good steakhouse always has yummy burgers.

I LOVE a good burger. This post has given me some future supper suggestions. As for great burgers in town I’ll add my support for Applebee’s. also the Tavern at Canad inns has a very good burger.

Jimmy's in Portage La Prairie has Awesome burgers. They all come with chili but I ask for no chili. And they are big burgers!!!

Moms has a good burger but my favorite is Beef and Barrel -Bull Burger and I believe every tuesday they have it on as the daily special.

The Dairy Bar in Souris makes a fantastic burger also
