Poutine?

Where is the best poutine you can get in the city? And/or places that sell poutine in general?? Fast food, gourmet, it doesn’t matter to me. Winnipeg has Smoke’s and its to die for but I’ll take anything close enough here to kill my craving.

Best I have tried is at pork Floyd. Either the pulled pork poutine or the ‘OG’ one. Also heard good things about the poutine king food truck but haven’t tried it and not sure if it is operating in winter..

Pizza Express for delivery. Their perogie poutine is amazing, have a friend or enjoy the leftovers as they are huge.

Joe Beeverz for dine in. The blackened steak or Christmas poutine are my favorite. Great atmosphere and good drinks to go with your meal.

Don't give dogs all that fat, it could give them pancreatitis which can be fatal. I had a relative that used to give their dog KFC gravy and that dog got sick from it.

Smokes poutine is honestly garbage, overly salty, limp fries and never fresh curds.

I find the best poutine in town is at Mary Brown's. While potato wedges (taters) are nowhere near traditional for poutine, they just work. The gravy they use is a chicken-based gravy which is what most Quebec restaurants use (or a chicken/beef blend), and a good amount of cheese curds to give it a nice potato:cheese ratio.

Komfort Kitchen's poutine is pretty good as well, but I haven't had it in years.

Joe Beeverz is alright, it's more gimmicky than classic poutine, not a fan of the gravy.

The best poutine in Manitoba is at Le Garage in St Boniface, but unfortunately there's not a single poutine in Manitoba that will compare to a classic Quebec poutine. We never get the curds fresh enough to retain that rubbery squeak squeak sound to it

I agree their poutine is amazing!! You can also have it topped with pulled chicken, simply the best!!
