Sushi grade fish

Salmon is a nice fish for sushi, but I’m not sure if any of the frozen filets would specify that it was sushi grade. We did a bit of making our own sushi quite awhile back and found that the easiest way to get fish that was safe was buy a filet, check and make sure your deep freezer was below 0 degrees F, or minus19 C.
With a temperature at those levels you can throw your filet in the freezer and leave it for about a week, that will kill any parasites in the meat, and it will be safe to eat raw, pretty sure the same process can be used for other varieties of fish as well.
