One of the first restaurants that comes up when threads explore what restaurants people would like to see in Brandon. Mongolian Stir Fry Restaurant that folks who visit Winnipeg from time to time won't be unfamiliar with. Nothing official I’ve seen quite yet and nothing on their website locations page, but I imagine the answer will be a lot clearer when the rest of the sign in the pic from Unit D 1850 18th st (next to Pet Smart) is filled out :)

Had a good chat with a Mongo's rep and got a lot more details on what will in fact be a Brandon Mongo's.  
 
They have a couple different concepts in Winnipeg. The one being built into the space on 18th Street is their Fast Casual concept, which is adapted to be especially suited to the environment we've seen since the pandemic. When you walk in there will be kiosks where you can custom build your stir fry or pick from pre-conceived bowls. Can also order ahead online or order through more traditional employee/cash register. They'll also be setup with Skip.  
 
End result is being able to build the same bowl that you might've built at their other more buffet-style concept... including seeing orders being prepped on two ventless grills in front of you as you come in.  
 
The online ordering on their website gives a good idea of the process and options that we'll see here.  
 
There'll be a small amount of seating for 45 inside along with a separate  
 
Sounds like they've been looking for an opportunity to come to Brandon for about the last five years. Targeted opening will be first week of January, with some hiring and training taking place earlier in December.
