Recipe for Leftover Turkey

Turkey & Broccoli Braid
2 cups diced, cooked turkey
1 cup fresh broccoli, chopped
1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped
1 clove chopped or grated fresh garlic
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp. dried dill weed
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. slivered almonds
1/4 cup diced green onion
2 - 8 oz pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
In large bowl, toss together all ingredients except crescent rolls. Spray cooking sheet with pam. Unroll crescent roll dough and arrange on baking sheet. Pinch together perforations to form single sheet of dough. Using a pair of scissors, cut 1 inch wide strips (frnge)toward centre on long side of dough, leaving a three inch solid strip down the centre. Spread the turkey mixture down the centre. Fold top and bottom ends in first and then fold the strips over the mixture, starting at one end and alternating from each side. Bake in preheated oven at 375 for 25 - 28 minutes, or until golden brown.
I have used this recipe for chicken also.
