Should I sell my wedding dress?

I'm thinking about selling my wedding dress, but I'm hesitant to actually go through with it. It's a beautiful dress and I absolutley love it, but I'm afraid that it is just going to sit in a closet for the rest of my life when it could be enjoyed by someone else. I'm also afraid that if I do part with it that I'll have regrets because of the sentimental value.
Have any other brides sold their wedding dresses? If so...did you regret it?
