Question. Just want to get married

So, my b/f and I have been wanting to get married but I'm not quite sure how anything works. I realize I could probaly google it but i'd like to have someone to help me out here. Obviously I'm younger and know nothing about weddings. All we want is just to get married, but I don't want a ceremony, just something to say we're legally married. What do I need to do to get this? Do i need a certificate? a witness? who is the best to contact?? Thanks to anyone for ur help.
