Wedding Reception Music

I was wondering if anyone has any advice on who to hire to play music at a wedding reception? So far, we have hired a live band to play, but I would like to have another source of music to mix things up a bit. All of the companies listed in the phone book look so similar to me, so any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!
