Hi, I know this thread has been started before, but was wondering if there were any suggestions out there to be given. My fiancé and I are looking at a late September to mid October wedding with upwards of a 100 guests. Our ceremony and reception must be inside and must take place within Brandon or within 10 minutes of Brandon. Some places we know of already are City Hall, Victoria Inn, Royal Oak Inn, Trails West, Sokol Hall. If there are any other sugestions, we'd love to hear them and we'd also love to hear your experience on the place that you used for your wedding!

I have no first hand experience but I know Alternative Landscaping has had weddings and receptions in their facility. I believe they handle all the details, much like a wedding planner, so not sure if that is something that interests you.  
 
There is also the Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum...again, I have no first hand experience but have heard that weddings held there are beautiful.

We briefly looked into Alternative Landscaping and we were both put off by the fact that they wanted to know our budget right up front. We felt it was them wanting to use our entire budget. We feel prices should be presented, and then we decide. I've heard rumors that the Commonwealth Museum is undergoing some renovations and will not be available.

Of beautiful weddings at lady of the lake! Never been to one myself though. I believe there is a tea room just outside of Brandon that does weddings as well.

We are having our wedding at the lady of the lake it's beautiful and cozy in there.

I am a director at the CATP Museum. The hangar is not currently available for social gatherings due to renovations but the museum also has a wonderful canteen available. It is a vintage building from World War II which has been completly renovated. This i:ncludes geothermanl heating and modern, well functioning air conditioning. It has a kitchen for caterers, room for approximately 150 guests, lots of parking, etc. It even has a huge grassy field behind it for nice summer weather. Phone number 727-2444. Commute is not bad - about 10 minutes from downtown.
