Catering to Clear Lake

Hi!
My fiance and I are leaning towards getting married in Clear Lake likely at the Onanole Rec Centre. We were wondering if anyone had any recommendations for caterers in the area that will deliver to the centre. We are looking for a buffet style with a reasonable price tag. We are having 150-170 people and would like to spend less than $30 per person.

I am looking for personal recommendations. I have googled a few and looked into it but would like to hear feedback on the food itself.

Also if anyone has any recommendations for ceremony locations that would be greatly appreciated. I have a few ideas in mind but a fresh perspective would be nice.

Out of Virden would be within that price range. Their perogies and meatballs are absolutely to die for! Their pricing also i:ncludes a dessert.

He does a delicious roast beef! Local and super easy to deal with - he does things right!

Locations, well there is the main beach, rent camp kippechwin (unlikely though for next summer), old superintendents cabin, wishing well, Elkhorn, maybe one of the golf courses?

Bruce Manulak (sp?) from Oakburn. I have been to a few weddings where he catered and I always get excited if I hear he is catering a wedding I’m going to or being in!!

If you are having a smaller ceremony than the Martese is a different idea, my husband was hooked when I asked if he wanted to get married on a boat and it’s covered in case of rain. Wishing well is pretty. Gazebo on main beach

Have seen his work lots up here and always very good. He can go from basic to fancy just tell him what you want.

He catered my son and daughter in laws wedding at the Onanole community center a couple of years ago and he was excellent. We heard so many compliments from the guests and his price was very reasonable.

Highly recommend Joe Beeverz for catering. We have attended two events they have catered.... a pig roast at Clear Lake and a more formal wedding in Brandon
The food and service was fabulous!

has catered at large weddings at Onanole Rec Centre and were fantastic. Call Diane at 728-1245. Also, the Wishing Well at Clear Lake is a nice place for a ceremony
