Boat motor: Please help

I just bought a secondhand boat and 55 evinrude motor . It has a hydraulic lift for the motor but is not working. A lot of people have said something about the fluid in it but I dont know where to check or add it. I live at Chimo Resort by Rivers. please help . thanks in advance.
