My husband watched a show on Sunday night but he can't remember what it was called. It followed this life of a real man from the time he was born(in the 1940's) until his death. It was not a movie with celebrities playing a character. He thought it was called From Birth to Death or something along that line, but can't find anything that is actually it. Maybe someone saw it or saw it in the guide. We have Shaw direct but i'm sure it was on other cable providers.

This was a one time documentary type program, but thanks anyway

I googled "documentary from birth till death" It came up with "The living body" documentary..I don't know how to add a link..just google it, and I think this is the one...

"The Living Body" is more about scientific view of life. The one i'm looking for was about following a single man and how he lived his life and events that happened to him that made up his life.It was not a science based documentary. Thanks anyway.

know what channel it was on?

I thought I was the Google king, but apparently not!  
If anyone finds this, I would love to know also and check it out.

seems rather depressing.

What you are describing sounds very similar to The Up Series from the UK. But it follows the lives of 14 children from the age of seven, starting in 1964. It followed up with them every 7 years. I highly recommend this series, it's really interesting.

The documentary you are looking for is Cradle to Grave. To find it, Google Cradle to Grave documentary. It was on the National Geographic Channel, I believe.

It's called Cradle to Grave and it was made by National Geographic
