I enjoy the updates. I don't know you both personally, but I did catch a nice interview with Lisa on CBC Information Radio this morning. If anyone missed it, check into Facebook - CBC Manitoba page for a profile of her message to live life as we know it and the support of family (Rusty) is a wonderful thing. Here is another link:

When we think we are having a rough day, it's always inspiring to see someone like Lisa who looks on the bright side of life. We have little to complain about.
There are so many interesting small towns and villages surrounding Brandon to discover for any more ideas.. Alexander (Dundee Shop), Oak Lake, Rivers, Minnedosa (Farmhouse 50 for lunch and coffee), Neepawa (Nice shops, Farmery Brewery tours maybe and pretty scenery), Carberry (Sara the Camel and the Sandhills), Shilo (Museum), Wawanesa (Terrific museum and pretty scenery by the old bridge!), Boissevain (turtlemania and nice shop), pretty Souris (nice stop with the swinging bridge, peacocks in the park, interesting shops and a neat museum), Shady Lane Tea House (outskirts of Brandon)… I'm sure I have missed many, but I am pressed for time at the moment. All this within 30-60 minutes away.
Kudos to you for bringing us an piece of positivity, Lisa and Rusty!
