School break is here!!  
 
We were going to watch a bunch of Christmas movies with the kids. We have a few favourites - The Grinch (old version) and A Christmas Story - but I'm trying to remember some other old favourites.  
 
What Christmas movies will you watch this holiday?? Bonus points if kid-friendly!  
 
(But not necessarily so. I'm totally going to watch Die Hard after the kids go to bed one night!)

National lampoons Christmas vacation and The holiday are probably my 2 favorite Christmas movies! I also love Home alone, the polar express, love actually, and the family stone. Enjoy!

The alarm clock scene cracks me up every time. Some years, SO relatable.  
 
- Bad Santa 2  
 
The Santa Vs. Santa scene is just . . . great.  
 
- Home Alone 1 & 2  
 
This is a bit nostalgia, and a bit amusement on account of Joe Pesci's gibberish. It was a technique he devised with the film's producer to keep him from swearing with children on set.  
 
The Grinch  
 
I like the original version, as well as the 2019 version with Benedict Cumberbatch (which gave me a few laughs). Not a fan of the Jim Carry version, however.  
 
Christmas with the Kranks  
 
Fine, this isn't exactly a liked movie. It's more, a fascinating exploration of all of the most annoying aspects of the holiday packed into one film.  
 
Family Guy 2010 Holiday Special  
 
It's not a movie, more the episode Road to the North Pole. Namely, the "Christmas is killing us" song. Could not have expressed those feelings about the holidays as well as Seth did.

Family Guy 'Road To The North Pole' has me in stitches every time I watch it. The scene where Brian and Stewie enter the wrong home and bash the surprised father's skull is hilarious (in a dark way- who knew that Santa was a B&E artist with assault and battery charges?? LOL)  
 
In the same vein of twisted Christmas tales is Santa's Slay, where wrestler Bill Goldberg is a demon son of Satan ("Satan" letters rearranged = "Santa") Every 1,000 years Satan's son gets to revert to his true nature and be evil. (trivia tidbit: Goldberg met his wife, a stunt woman from Saskatchewan while filming the movie on location in Edmonton) The original Gremlins must also count because it takes place Christmas Eve. Also taking place on Christmas eve is Everly, about a kidnapped woman (Salma Hayek) who faces down hitmen sent by a mob boss/her captor while trying to protect her family from his wrath.

It IS a Christmas movie!! Lol

I just watched both of these and they were great! I’ve heard a lot of praise for Jingle Jangle so that’s next on my list. All three of these are on Netflix
