I recently turned 60, so I was born in 1965 which is the beginning of Gen X. Our childhood hero's can't live forever, but you start to reflect on your own mortality when they pass away.  
This week we lost, Malcom - Jamal Warner (actor), Ozzy Osbourne (musician), Chuck Mangione (musician) and Hulk Hogan (wrestler).  
Although I was only 12 at the time, the toughest loss for me was hearing that Elvis Presley had died. Who's passing was the most difficult for you?

Yes the loss of Elvis was so sad. He was way tooooo young. The first movies we ever got to go to as young children was an afternoon matinee and it happen to be an Elvis movie, so loved all of his music from day 1.

The kid in me will miss Hulk Hogan, but now that I'm an adult....not so much.

Couple of massive icons of my youth. I listen to Sabbath as much today as i ever did. Um... maybe someone should check in to make sure Cheech and Chong are still ok...

you hear about what Bruce Willis is going through now. He has Aphasia that affects language expression and comprehension. Guess he's non verbal and immobile now. He was one of the big action stars of the action movie era.

So so sorry Braid, o my yes very tough.  
Would be a heartbreaking loss for me.  
How to cope????

Both him and Michael J Fox. Seeing what they are going through really puts things into perspective and reminds me how fragile and precious life is.

His death shocked me! I wasn't a huge fan - have seen a few of his movies but his death bothered me. And yes...watching Michael J. Fox and Bruce Willis living their lives with their diagnosis hurts my heart. Bruce Willis will always be my favourite action hero.
