Movie Theatre (Brandon)

Just the other night a friend and I went to check out a movie at Capitol Theatres. It was the first time I had been back there since the movie "300" had been released and we were actually going to check out the "Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer" movie, so I suggested we should try to get there a half hour before the movie to purchase tickets and concessions.
We arrived at 6:30pm to make the 7:00pm showing and had utilized the "automatic teller" to purchase our tickets (took maybe 3-5minutes) and then we went to get in line for concessions...what an experience!
The concessions had some 6-8 people working 4 line-ups, and they were working hard for their wage thats for sure. I had no complaints about their service, but the lines for concessions was crazy! We didn't make it out of the line with our snacks til 7:10pm...we were there for at least a half hour in line. Is this normal?
Like I said, 6-8 people working 4 lines, and all were working as quick as they could from what I witnessed, but I couldn't believe the amount of time it took to get people through. Has this been an experience that others have shared?
My only thoughts after getting into our seats (before the movie started...yay!)was that next time I'm gonna have to be there an hour early or I am going to have to smuggle in snacks.
Again no complaints about the service that was provided, but the wait was crazy...is this normal?
