What the heck is wrong with some people when someone passes away?

This young 22 year old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown never stood much of a chance to begin with, with substance abuse surrounding her formative years and with little support after her mother passed away.

She eventually followed a similar path and now can't even get peace at her own funeral with the in-fighting of the families.

Why does the ugly sometimes come out when someone passes on? Dignity be damned, I guess.

She deserves at least some respect at her service. I hope she's in a much better place now.

what difference does it make how people act/react? She's dead, in the ground. Doesn't affect her at all

It's not all about the drama of the living. Come together as a family unit for an hour or 2 for the sake of a dignified presence is how I look at it.

will have to rephrase my comment,

Lots of dysfunctional families in the world, this one makes the news quite regularly. So why be surprised, it is because they are rich and famous they make the news.

And, yes it is all about the drama of the living, because as a general rule people are selfish and if they can bring all the attention to themselves, they will do it.

They are not a healthy family unit in the first place, why would a funeral make any difference, most of them don't care.

The number one reason, in my humble opinion, for most of the world's ills, is greed. Plain and simple. It makes other-wise normal people, or countries for that matter, behave in ways that defy description.
