    Has anyone tried either of these? Are they a good alternative to Netflix?

    I have it and it's got some good shows that you wouldn't get on Netflix like SOA and two broke girls. They have a good selection of everything except older anime and foreign stuff. They also don't tend to get new stuff on very often. However the two month free trial was a nice bonus
