This is a bit of an offshoot of the thread about cable TV vs. streaming from Roku, Android, etc.  
 
I have Netflix, mostly use it. I can watch a lot of my regular shows a day later from the TV stations website. If it were up to me, I'd ditch cable in a heartbeat.  
 
Sadly, I live with others who do enjoy watching the playoffs, or Superbowl, or whatever is on - live. (understandably) Is there some sort of service for sports similar to Netflix???? I'd be happy to pay a monthly fee for the service like Netflix (but for sports) as it would save me a bundle in cable package prices!!!  
 
I'm aware you can get some channels on Kodi or similar - but from what I have heard the reliability isn't there, and there's something to be said for just turning on a TV and having the game on, reliably and in good quality.

But I'm definitely interested in this topic! Through hockey season we literally pay for cable just to have all the sports channels. If there was a better way we would definitely cancel our cable. We had the center ice package through PlayStation before and if the Internet wasn't as good some days it was glitchy or blurry, not fun!

You need a cable subscription to access the TSN Go app on your phone/TV

Seems like the world needs "Sportsflix" lol. I may just have to suck it up for now and accept that the football and hockey needs (I use the term loosely) around this house are just gonna cost us $1000 per year. LOL. Pretty eye opening when you add it all up!!!
