    Does anyone still patch tires?

    Got a slow leak on my front tire was wondering if they still patch them and if so where to take it ?

    They all do as long as the leak isn't on the sidewall. Kal Tire, Fountain Tire, Denary Tire, and Wal-Mart all patch tires.

    In their right mind would drive on a tire that the sidewall has been patched!! . A tire repair should always be a safe repair.

    Do you have aluminum rims? In the cold weather they are famous for having slow leaks. My braniac nephew explained the science to me, but the moral of the story is steel rims don't leak in the cold.

    Tires should never be repaired on the sidewall. Too much flexing there and if anything, it's the weak part of a tire. Anyone that repairs them properly would still do it with a patch.
