Ok. Your car has a problem. Plugs and wires are the most likely thing it needs. If they've never been done it's time. Flashing check engine light is bad.
You've been given some very good advice so far to bring the car to a reputable and affordable shop now- not later. The more you drive the vehicle like this, the more harm done = a much, much bigger bill later. Spending $3-400 now (shouldn't need that much) is so much less than having much costlier repairs from stubborn neglect later.
Get the car scanned. Likely has a code in the P0300-P0306 range telling you of the misfire.
Have it easily diagnosed: spark plugs or wires or coil packs likely at fault.
Replace worn or defective components
Re-test running condition, and have the fuel trim reset via scan tool.
Then spend the little bit extra on an engine oil change- as with misfires unburnt fuel not only can overheat the catalytic converter, it can wash down the piston rings of the affected cylinder(s) causing poor compression, premature component wear and fuel can actually start to work past the rings and dilute your engine oil, again causing wear to other engine parts.
Please. Save yourself your hard-earned cash and maintain your vehicle now.
Otherwise you may regret your repair bill later. (I'm in the industry and see it all the time)
