Hey there,  
 
My car recently started to give me some trouble and it looks like it may be the fuel pump. I was just curious if anyone knows any good mechanics in Brandon who could replace the part at a good price? The quote I was given from my car’s dealership was a bit much. I want to shop around as my car’s fuel pump is no longer under warranty anyway.  
 
Anyone have any good recommendations on where they’ve been or where I should go? Any help would be appreciated!

Replacing a fuel pump isn't a terribly hard job. Try Tory's Repair on Richmond East or maybe One Stop on 12th or South End Service.

Are you absolutely sure it's the fuel pump?  
It's not a filter, or a fuel pressure regulator, or water in your fuel?  
My experience has been that when a fuel pump fails, it fails dead, and you get zero pressure at the fuel rail and an absolutely no start situation.  
Is there a fault code associated with this fuel pump failure?  
 
I'm only asking, because yes - depending on the year, make and model they can be super-expensive to replace. You want to be sure.

Depends on the year. Anything newer the fuel pump is a pricy part. Also many new vehicles have the filter, regulator and pump all one unit. In the tank. Replacing one is more a pain than difficult so pretty much any shop can do it.
