personally I prefer them, they are fast and I browse around store while I wait . They also do quick inspections on your car and let you know what may be required in the near future which I appreciate and can budget for down the road. I use synthetic oil always in my car so to keep cost down I purchase before hand at walmart or CT if its on sale. So all I need is the new filter. I've used small garages and love them but I prefer to window shop at the same time.

Some people will never be caught bringing their vehicle here, but I like to go to Wal Mart.
On Saturday, no appointment is needed. It's cheap and they check your fluids, tire tread wear, and tell you if anything major is wrong. They only do oil changes and install tires, so they have no motive to tell you your engine is kapoot.
The techs are experienced here in their 40's and 50's.
I am pleasantly surprised with Brandon's Wal Mart Lube Express.

is great. They go over your vehicle and tell you if anything is wrong. I prefer them over anyone.

Been going there for a number of years. Very happy. Yes techs are no young bucks. By no mean old tho. Worked with one of the techs wifes, so totally trust him.

I do my own oil. Cost me less than $30 and 15 minutes last weekend

Hard to say the price for change given every make and model is a diff. Price has diff recommended oil types. My truck costs about $85 and suv about $110. I use great canadian they have always been fast and reliable.
