then why do the tire companies sell them in the summer, but in the winter tell as in the westman journal that they are dangerouse when the temperature is below -7 degrees? Do you remember when the tire companies told us that studded tires were the best thing since the invention of sliced bread but not every one installed them so the driver with the studs got whip lash from being rear ended by drivers who could not stop. Is this more irrisponsible false advertising or just bad advice from the tire experts?
