To the disrespectful people who took the time to stick a piece of chewed gum to my dads black Impala window. You are a disgusting representation of society. You are absolutely disgusting, disrespectful and quite frankly a coward. There is no reason for you to have done this. If you feel you have that much time on your hands and you don't mind touching nasty chewed up gum I'm sure there is better options for you such as volunteering your time. By the way my dad literally spent the afternoon waxing and polishing his "baby" thank you for ruining it for him. If anyone has suggestions of getting it off, would be greatly appreciated!

Just another instanstance of lack of common courtesy? How about those people who open their vehicle doors and the door slams into the next vehicle beside them. That kills me. You know the vehicle is there and yet you don't cautiously open your vehicle door. Common courtesy? Nope!

It's just disrespectful! There are people who will spend lots of time taking care of their property to have someone come by and damage it! The dents, the dings the scratches. I agree people need to slow down and start respecting others property. Do what you want with yours but don't damage other's as you don't know what they have been through to earn what they have. It's really common sense!

Freeze it with ice, and it can pop off. You may have to use goo gone. but since it is on glass, it will come off.

Was it smooshed on there with exerted force, or perhaps someone driving by spit their gum out the window and it just happened to land there ?

Even if it was smooshed on, atleast that's all it was, not a frozen egg on paint or a rock through it, life's too stressful without worrying about the small things that can be easily fixed

Yes definitely use a razor blade. You must remember to keep the glass wet. If the glass is not wet, the razor blade will scratch.

Really though, gum will come off of a window very easy. Wait for it to harden, or use a little rubbing alcohol.

Avon skin so soft or baby oil is what I would use. I wouldn't scrape it.

try WD 40 - spray ,leave a few minutes- and remove!!
Works on most sticky/glue like substances.GOOD LUCK !!

It was recommended to remove a small wad of gum off of a small section of a window, not the entire windshield.
