I am thinking about starting my own detailing business here in brandon but would like to know if the customer base is here? Everything from quick washes to full detailing and paint restoration for considerable prices. Please all feed back is welcome, and very usefull in my decision on starting this.

Is there are a lot of people doing detailing in Brandon

Just giant car wash and wash and wrench, but i would offer more with paint restoration. They are good, not gonna slander them at all. Plus i would also go onsite to steam clean heavy duty machines, tractors, whatever needed

I needed one a couple of months ago! Sure would have been nice to have an option of where to take it.

I will offer a bunch of different packages dependent on what the customer wants and can afford! I will also offer pick up and delivery for the person who is an every day worker that doesnt have time to drop off.

but every dealership has detail services now. there are at least four detailing shops in town and I personally Know of 5 people doing detailing at their homes. they are out there but if you can offer something they can''t all the power to you. Don''t let me or anyone else stop you from doing it. If you are good, word of mouth will sustain you in Brandon.

I have been to a couple if your good and reasonable price you will do well. I have not been happy with any of the 3 I have been too expensive and I feel I can do a better job myself at home.

There are at least a dozen places in the city that you can get your vehicle detailed, including a couple that come to you, and a couple that offer pickup/delivery, etc.  
 
So unless you're offering something really special or have a LOT of friends who will use your service, it will be tough to attract peoples' attention without spending big bucks on advertising or giving away your service at a huge discount. It's kind of a trendy business to get into right now and there are a lot of people competing for customers, and some of them have pretty deep pockets.
