Obtaining a new title or TOD for an old abandoned vehicle to restore

I am wondering what has to be done to get a new title or TOD for an old truck i am interested in buying to put back on the road again. All that will come with it is a bill of sale. The truck has been sitting for a long time.Any help is appreciated.

We went to our insurance agent and they called MPI head office with the VIN and they generated a registration form for us ....Hope that helps but call your insurance broker for sure.

They will do everything for u u need vin number and u will sign few papers I was worried couple years ago so went in then just insure it as lay over all year since I got over 8 g into it already
