It doesn't matter what kid of car you drive. Coolant for gasoline engines is all the same. There is a coolant for diesel engines too, though I am not sure what the difference is. I imagine it has more to do with diesel engines starting in cold weather.

Are you sure about this statement???
Different car manufactures use different types of coolant and cannot be mixed so be very careful what you purchase.
There is universal engine coolants that are suppose to mix with all types of engine coolant.
Do not mix standard green coolant with red or gold coolant!!!
