If this is a newer impala with aluminum heads, just be careful. If you manage to brake them loose but they are still binding, really lube them and work them back and forth, If you force them and they are coming out tight the threads on the head could start piling up (stripping). Trouble is these days that cars generally run well and spark plug replacement is infrequent and leads to this problem sometimes.
