Virden Pet Network has been rescuing, spay-neutering and rehoming cats for 12 years. We were the first registered rescue to operate in southwestern Manitoba. The rescue is run entirely by volunteers. Our cats in care live in foster homes all over the region, where they are socialized and prepared to be adopted. 95% of our budget goes directly towards our mandate of helping animals and helping the people who love their animals. We have a very popular low cost spay neuter program, co-sponsored by the Virden Animal Hospital, which brings down the cost for eligible applicants.
