Class 1 Truck Driver Position
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class 1 Truck Driver to transport fertilizer efficiently and safely to designated locations. The successful candidate will operate heavy vehicles such as tractor-trailers and ensure timely deliveries, maintain accurate documentation, and comply with all transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
? Operate Class 1 commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers, semi-trucks)
? Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
? Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
? Follow all traffic laws and transportation regulations
? Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
? Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delays promptly
? Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned vehicle
Requirements
? Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
? Clean driving record (abstract required)
? Minimum 1-2 years of commercial driving experience (preferred)
? Knowledge of transportation safety regulations
? Strong time management and navigation skills
? Ability to pass drug/alcohol screening (if applicable)
