Westman Naturalists - Warbler Trek
Sunday, May 17 (In 5 days) 8:00am Recreation
It's time for our annual spring warbler trek up at Riding Mountain National Park! Ken Kingdon, expert on birds and RMNP, will be leading us this year. This walk usually ends up being around 6-7km and will end around noon, depending on how many times we stop for birds. Trails can be rough and muddy this time of year, so be sure to bring proper footwear; and of course clothing for all seasons.
Don't forget your binoculars! The trail is in and out, so we'll take a break at the end for water/snacks before turning back around. Be aware that ticks and/or mosquitoes are likely to be out there with us.
