We'll be exploring a wild property south of Oak Lake, walking along mowed trails up and down sandhills and through meadows, woodlands, and marshes. In past years we've gone out in later August, so we can expect to find different species in bloom this time! And we'll be on the lookout for Lark Sparrow and other interesting birds.

This outing involves walking along trails that will have Poison Ivy and roots or branches to trip on. Please be prepared, you will need to bring a good pair of walking shoes, sunscreen, bug protection, water, snacks and lunch. The walk is planned to be between 2-3km.
