Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Truss Builder to join our manufacturing team. This role involves the assembly of roof and floor trusses in a fast-paced production environment. Experience is an asset, but we are willing to train dependable individuals who are motivated to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble roof and floor trusses according to shop drawings and layouts
- Use pneumatic nailers, hand tools, and shop equipment safely
- Read measurements and follow production instructions accurately
- Maintain quality control standards on all assemblies
- Keep a clean and organized work area
- Work efficiently to meet daily and weekly production targets
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- Experience in truss manufacturing, framing, or construction is an asset
- Ability to read basic drawings and use a tape measure accurately
- Physically capable of lifting materials and working on your feet
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn and take direction
