Are you a post-secondary student with a passion for creating engaging visual content? The Communications team at MASC is looking for a Content Creator Summer Student to produce short and long-form video content to support our marketing campaigns and social media channels. In this role you will be a crucial part of our team by:
Strategizing content ideas to support our multiple marketing and brand campaigns.
- Writing video briefs and/or scripts for videos.
- Planning content creation opportunities, coordinating with internal subject matter experts and clients.
- Producing visual and video content to be utilized in marketing campaigns.
*The successful applicant must be available to work for the duration of the term. Preference will be given to students furthering their education in the fall.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Enrolled in a post-secondary Marketing, Media/Communications, Agriculture, or Agribusiness program.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Experience using Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Excel, Word, Outlook) in a cloud-based environment.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
- Experience with photo and video editing software.
- Comfortable being behind the camera and/or directing others on camera.
- Experience in creating engaging content to drive awareness, engagement, or conversion.
- Comfortable following brand guidelines and maintaining a consistent voice.
- General knowledge of the agriculture industry considered an asset.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Valid driver?s license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
- Must have the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba as required.
SALARY: $19.31 to $21.91 per hour, depending on education and experience.
