We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our construction office in Brandon, Manitoba in a contract opportunity with permanent potential.
Job Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service at reception i.e. greet customers in person, answer a switch-board style phone, transfer calls, take messages when needed.
- Work in collaboration with the operations team and perform diversified administrative duties as assigned - managing files, data entry, copying, scanning, mailing and other duties as assigned.
- Record and manage invoices and other payables within Sage 300.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices with a high level of accuracy, ensuring billing details match information provided and client requirements.
- Monitor outstanding customer balances, apply incoming payments, and follow up on overdue accounts to support timely collections.
Experience & Education:
- Professional personality with a good work ethic
- Excellent communication skills with internal teams and clients
- Minimum 1-year education in college accounting, office administration; preferred
- Experience with AR/AP; preferred
- Class 5 Drivers Licence; required
- Previous experience in a similar role; asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
