Day Shift Lead Hand/Shunt Truck

We are seeking a Day Shift Lead Hand/Shunt Truck operator to help lead our wash bay operations at our facility in Brandon. This role is vital in ensuring efficient cleaning processes and maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction and bio-security standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily wash bay activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Providing superior customer service to our external & internal customers
- Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow during the day shift.
- Light Maintenance of equipment and ensure proper mechanical functioning.
- Movement of Livestock trailers with Shunt truck or Customers Semi's.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with bio-security protocols and health standards.
- Support training and development of team members
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to industrial cleaning equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
- Commitment to safety and bio-security standards.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial services is preferred.
- Strong communications skills are required
Starting Wage of $19.50/Hr with wage reviews at 3 months, 6 months and annually. Benefits after 3 months.
