About the Role
Rhino Property Management is seeking a motivated and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role. The successful candidate will perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and property improvements across our residential and commercial portfolio while delivering quality workmanship and excellent service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in property maintenance, construction, or a related trade is considered an asset.
- Experience with drywall repairs, general carpentry, painting, and basic plumbing repairs.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks effectively
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Duties
- Complete general maintenance and repair work at residential and commercial properties
- Perform drywall patching, painting, carpentry, and minor plumbing repairs
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-presented properties
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Assist with seasonal property maintenance and other duties as assigned
