Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing recommendations and upselling specials to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Shift4, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled correctly
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, ensuring food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Candidate must be available days, evenings and weekends
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting through excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Shift4 is advantageous but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving, upselling, and providing guest services in hospitality settings is highly valued
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential
