Substitute Teacher (Multiple Positions Available)
Overview: Christian Heritage School is seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers to join our team for the upcoming school year. As a Substitute Teacher, you will have the opportunity to support student learning and contributing to our school community on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher and facilitate learning activities according to school policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic growth.
- Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Provide instruction, support, and supervision to students in various grade levels and subject areas.
- Collaborate with school staff and administrators to support the continuity of instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to ensure a smooth transition during the teacher's absence.
Qualifications:
- Manitoba Teaching Certificate or eligibility for a Substitute Teaching Permit is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is preferred.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is an asset.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different grade levels and subject areas.

- A child abuse registry check and criminal record check will be required of successful candidates.
- Candidates must be willing to uphold the Christian ethos of the school and actively participate in the school's Christian community.
