HIRING: HANDYMAN / PROPERTY MAINTENANCE PERSON
We are looking for a reliable, skilled maintenance person to help care for our rental properties in Brandon.
Responsibilities include:
? Completing general repairs and routine property maintenance.
? Handling minor plumbing repairs, painting, drywall repairs, carpentry, and repairs to doors, locks, and fixtures within your abilities.
? Identifying maintenance concerns and reporting work that requires a qualified tradesperson.
? Keeping work areas clean and safe and treating tenants? homes with respect.
? Communicating professionally and courteously with tenants and management.
The right person must have:
? A valid driver?s licence and their own reliable vehicle.
? Their own tools.
? Practical maintenance knowledge and experience.
? Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
? A trustworthy, honest, and dependable work ethic.
? Good people skills, patience, and a respectful manner when dealing with tenants.
? The ability to work independently, follow instructions, manage time, and complete jobs properly.
? Respect for tenants? privacy and personal belongings.
