Hiring Urgent Care Provider
Care Possible is a non-profit platform where clients seeking self-managed care services like in-home care and respite connect with care providers. Supported by our Customer Experience team, our community of Independent Care Providers delivers exceptional service to clients throughout Manitoba based on their individual needs.?
On behalf of our clients, we are seeking compassionate, reliable, and self-motivated caregivers to support seniors, adults, and children with a variety of care needs. Support may include companionship, respite care, personal care, mobility assistance, transportation to appointments and activities, shopping, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Care needs vary by household and may involve supporting individuals with physical disabilities, cognitive disabilities, developmental disabilities, or age-related care needs. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, a valid driver?s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and previous caregiving experience. Health Care Aide certification, CPR/First Aid training, and experience working with diverse support needs are considered assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and social support
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities
- Support mobility, transfers, and client independence
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
- Assist with shopping, transportation, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Provide respite support for families and caregivers
- Offer medication reminders as directed
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and client-centered environment
Requirements:
- Compassionate, dependable, and client-focused approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle preferred
- Health Care Aide certification and CPR/First Aid considered assets
- Experience supporting seniors, adults, or children with care needs is an asset
This flexible opportunity typically offers 15?20 hours per week, with client-specific schedules and rates generally ranging from $20?$25 per hour.
