Anyone knows how can i go about bringing a patient with a pelvis fracture from a south american country to canada? I’ve heard about special planes and stuff like that! Anyone knows? Please

Maybe you should contact her doctor here.  
 
Maybe contact the hospital, they may have staff that can lead you in the right direction.  
 
Maybe her hubby there can inquire at that end too?

Their travel insurance company? If you are traveling one would be crazy to not have travel insurance. I would speak to them and be making a claim asap.

They would need to be air lifted with a medical flight crew...and it would be covered by their travel insurance hopefully. Also depends on the patients stability and the stability of the fracture. The patient could then be transported to a Canadian facility capable of repairing the fracture and stabilizing the pelvis. To start, physician there would have to transfer care to here and a physician willing to accept the patient. I would contact the medical insurance company and see how they arrange for transport from one country to another.

Unless you have insurance, and I suspest you dont, lots dont get it, not out to pass judgment, whats done is done, nothing you can do now, you are talkng a massive amount of money crazy money and unless a charity or somthing wants to help and for the kind of money it will take, slim is be optimistic

Even with insurance there is no guarantee that they would fly her home ...  
Years ago my grandmother took a turn for the worse while in the states for the winter. She had insurance but my mom had to fight with the insurance company to get her home. She could not be transported without medical care and it was cheaper for the insurance company to just leave her where she was than to transport her home (she didn’t have much time left). In the end the insurance covered it but it was a fight to get them to do it.  
 
If you have insurance, and they’ve said no to transporting her, read the fine print of the policy and make lots of calls before shelling out the money. We are all assuming there’s no insurance but that may not be true. This whole situation is a lesson for everyone about travel insurance.

Steps are to contact:  
1) doctor/hospital she is currently in care at. Ask if transport is medically advisable etc. If they don't sign off on it you're pooched before you even begin.  
 
2) Insurance company (if the person is insured) you'll need to fight with them a lot through this process  
 
3) Local Dr or hospital that has agreed to accept care upon patients arrival.  
 
Both the dr's and hospitals will be very helpful through this process, and will be the ones you will need in your corner to deal with insurance companies. They also will be the ones making the lions share of the arrangements from their ends if this is going to happen. Both ends need to be on board to make this process as smooth as possible.
