    Re: people selling watches in the classifieds. I think there are 4 right now on the 1st page all saying "just needs new battery". Wouldn't it be better to spend the $10.00 & put a battery in before trying to sell? How's a person to know if they work otherwise? Just my thought but I'm curious.

    You can get Watch batteries @ Loonie Store across from Superstore 3 for $1.39  
    Don't have to pay $10. !!!  
     
    If the seller can't put in a new battery it does raise questions doesn't it

    Don't ever buy battery-powered device that you can't try out first. Otherwise you could end up with a useless decoration. Like Robbie said, dollar store batteries are good enough to put in to sell a watch or something.
