Does anyone have any experience with the latest model of the Dyson cordless vacuum V11? I really really really want one, as my main and only vacuum in a small condo (under 1100 sq ft), but have a couple of concerns: 1) is the run time as it claims? 2) does the Dyson stand up to its name and does anyone repair it in Brandon? 3) is it worth the $900.00? My condo gets its basic use, not real dirty, carpets in the 2 bedrooms only and a small scatter carpet at the front door. Let me know if you have one.

most vacuums of any kinds tend to suck up loose scatter mats then your trying to pull it out of the brush ends..Mats are better just taken outside and shaken. Unless they really fixed the design flaw of the cleaning cup...which in my opinion was meant for manhands not women hands ..as small hands couldn't grasp and squeeze and open the container part. If your home is small and clean with no pets or kids making a mess then ..no it's not worth the price...save your money for a well deserved vacation instead. After Covid of course lol

Everyone that has one that I know of absolutely loves it! They have the V7 and V10 motorhead models. I want to get one badly too and will likely go with the V10. I’m just not sure which model. My question is if the torque head works well on wood floors or if they feel the fluffy head (comes with Absolute model only) is really important?

We also have a V7 and V10 and love them both. Yes they are expensive but having bought $400 vacuums and have them fail to pick up after a year I would not trade my Dysons. Lightweight, easy to manoeuvre and cleans really well. You will not be disappointed.

I have the Dyson11 (ordered through airmiles) and I love it!! Wish I had not purchased a cheaper model of another brand 2 years ago as have warrantied it twice until I ordered the Dyson.  
 
My house is quite large and very rarely run out of battery, use it as my main vacuum. Love the ease of quick pick up and go for smaller jobs, or doing the whole house. We have 100% solid surface flooring (combo of hardwood, and tile) and only a few throw mats. It does a great job (changes suction for the mats) of all of them. It does not work on my dog bed though, sucks up the entire bed).  
 
As far as I know no one local fixes them. You contact Dyson and they repair or replace themselves (heard this from a coworker) and apparently have an amazing warranty.  
 
I only use the main attachment and the "stick" for sucking up in drawers, small spaces. Personally if had not ordered through airmiles absolutely would buy another dyson stick but a less expensive model than this one as I do not use the attachments and the battery lasts a really long time, at least on solid surfaces (the power indicator adjusts when you are doing the mats or carpet and it will go through battery quicker on those surfaces).

I had a dyson handheld and about a month after warranty it blew a belt. You can’t get parts for them to be fixed. You have to buy a new one. I’d rather buy cheaper and have to replace than pay that much again. Not worth it in my opinion.

battery died shortly after an iit took 3 months , with us calling like 7 times an wondering were the battery was sent to, fine as long as you have time to live on the phone, no one here fixes them

AvE on youtube has some funny albeit crude tear downs and mechanical reviews on some dyson models if anyone is curious.

Not sure about the rest of the parts but I replaced the battery on a Dyson. Very straightforward. Got the battery on amazon.

I am on my second Dyson in two years.. not because of problems I bought the second one an animal model with more attachments and more power. I gave the first model to my 70 year old mother to replace her dyson canister. She loves it easier to do her quick clean ups. She has no problem with popping the dust up or handling it. It’s worth the price if you have allergies or asthma as I have, the charge time has never been an issue I can manage my 1650 sq ft house one level on a charge and a few hours later do the full basement next. It’s the easiest to handle and quick to grab and go as it’s always hanging in the charger fully charged ! Only issue is I do not like using it in my car. Prefer the central vac outlet in garage for that job!

save your money! I absolute hated our Dyson. The amount of parts I had to replace in the short 3 years we had it, is so not worth the money and time. They're expensive as it is and having to deal with the troubleshooting they come with, is frustrating. They look nice + they market them well, but the price is extremely inflated for what you're getting and there are lots of very similar vacuums available now with a much friendlier price tag too. Just my opinion + experience lol!
