I was just trying to see what is available in Brandon for kids for sports, other than baseball, football and soccer.  
 
I've been sitting here for a while wracking my brain trying to think of different ideas, and I'm surprised that the City of Brandon or someplace doesn't have a listing of recreational events, clubs or groups in the city.  
 
Now, maybe there IS such a thing - but I sure can't find it!!  
 
Adam, would you think it a good idea for ebrandon? People could just log on, list their activity, location, dates of meetings or schedules, rates and a contact number or web site.  
 
I think it would be a great addition. So often people have come on ebrandon saying "I'm new to Brandon. Is there a ........ league in town?" Even people who live here don't know what is available.  
 
There could be different sections - one for recreation (mostly sports related), one for hobbies (wood carving, quilting, gaming groups, etc), one for family groups (play date groups, toy lending programs, etc)  
 
It would be up to any group to make sure they are listed, so I would think it would be fairly low maintenance.  
 
Maybe you already have this here, but I can't find it - so let me know if I'm missing it
