Visitors to eBrandon this morning will notice that a new tab has been added to the right-hand side of the main site menu.  
 
With the popularity of the Homes for Sale classified ads an expanded Homes section has been added to give folks a more in depth picture of buying or selling a home in Brandon.  
 
Features include:  
- a more detailed listing of recent home for sale classified ads  
- the ability to search those listings in more detail (eg. show homes between $200,000 and $250,000 in Southwest Brandon that have 3 bedrooms)  
- the option to subscribe to an email alert system, that will send you a note when a home matching your price range and location is posted  
- links to lisings posted by agents who are members of eBrandon, along with links to those agents' business directory profiles  
- a mortgage calculator  
- mortgage rates from local lenders (three so far, hoping to expand this list as time goes on)  
- links to real estate-related blogs contributed by local people and businesses  
- links to daily new real estate-related articles courtesy of About.com  
 
On actual classified ad listings for homes, you'll also notice a few new additions:  
- sellers now have the ability to add up to ten photos  
- sellers have the option of adding a 3-D "Pnotosynth" of their home to give you a sense for what it's like to be inside  
- there's a direct link to a mortgage calculator, with a given home's asking price automatically put in  
- as long as the seller has specified their address, there's a direct link to the City of Brandon's website where you can find tax assessment and other information on the specific home
